The much awaited new attraction on Yas Island was officially opened by Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council. SeaWorld Abu Dhabi is a cutting-edge theme park that offers entertainment and education focusing on marine life. It was created by Miral in collaboration with SeaWorld Parks and Entertainment.

The park, which boasts an astonishing 183,000 square meters of space, intends to enhance Abu Dhabi’s status as a major tourist destination. Sheikh Khaled visited Yas SeaWorld Research and Rescue, the first integrated research and education facility in the MENA area, to tour the facilities and learn more about the marine-focused programs.
Sheikh Khaled visited the park’s family-friendly experiences, animal interactions, and different rides and attractions in the company of Mohamed Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairman of the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi and Chairman of Miral, and Mohamed Abdalla Al Zaabi, Group CEO of Miral. Abu Dhabi has reached a crucial turning point with the launch of SeaWorld Abu Dhabi, which supports the city’s tourism strategy and environmental preservation efforts.
Sheikh Mohamed Khalifa Al Mubarak had great satisfaction in the iconic site’s contribution to environmental awareness-raising and the preservation of marine life. He stressed the park’s dedication to scientific inquiry, conservation, and requirements for animal welfare.

SeaWorld Abu Dhabi was created via collaboration and innovation, fusing SeaWorld’s knowledge of animal welfare and marine conservation with Miral’s development prowess, according to Scott Ross, Chairman of SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment. Ross expressed faith in the park’s capacity to astound visitors and elicit their support for marine conservation.
The first establishment in the MENA region to get this certification for animal welfare is SeaWorld Abu Dhabi, which has received it from Global Humane.
Yas Island is home to a number of well-known theme parks and attractions, including Warner Bros World Abu Dhabi, Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, Yas Waterworld, and CLYMB Abu Dhabi. The most recent addition to this collection is SeaWorld Abu Dhabi.
